What is Rest + Capsules?
Rest + Capsules are specially designed to improve sleep quality and increase sleep time. Sleep is a crucial factor for athletes to recover and adapt to the intense physical demands that training and competition entail. Many athletes experience suboptimal sleep times and difficulties falling asleep, especially when training or competing late in the evening. Additionally, sleep quality can be severely compromised during periods of intensive travel, training, and competition. This can be the case during training camps and periods with repeated competition days and weeks. Limiting sleep over several consecutive days can be disastrous for performance, as it increases vulnerability to illness and affects decision-making, muscle strength, and endurance. Rest + Capsules are formulated with a blend of ingredients that promote relaxation and drowsiness, reduce the time it takes to fall asleep, increase total sleep time, and reduce feelings of fatigue upon waking in the morning.
Active Ingredients for Better Sleep Quality
Rest + Capsules contain a combination of active ingredients that support sleep quality. Each dose contains cherries, glycine, tryptophan, 5-HTP, theanine, and magnesium. Rest + Capsules are recommended to be taken 30-60 minutes before bedtime.
Research on Rest + Capsules
Rest + has been studied in collaboration with Liverpool John Moores University to measure its effect on sleep time and the time taken to fall asleep. With all other factors controlled, Rest + supplementation showed a statistical difference compared to placebo, with 22 minutes longer sleep time and 24 minutes faster time to fall asleep.
