Boswellia Resin Extract contains Boswellia, also known as Frankincense, and is one of Solgar's botanical products. Boswellia resin comes from Boswellia trees and is also known by the name Frankincense. This tree is native to India, and the acid in the products is believed to have strong anti-inflammatory benefits, which support the immune system. There are over 20 different species of Boswellia. Those that produce resin are made into oils that are classified into different grades depending on the time of harvest season, how extraction and processing have been carried out, and the oil's purity. Boswellia Resin Extract is made from Boswellia Serrata, which contains most of the Boswellic acids. Boswellia has been used for centuries and is believed to support joint health.
