About Turbo+ Powder
Turbo+ Powder is an isotonic carbohydrate drink that contains 62g of carbohydrates combined with menthol extract. This unique blend of carbohydrates and menthol is designed to meet fuel needs during training while helping to reduce the increased thermal stress that occurs during indoor training with a turbo trainer. Turbo+ Powder is designed to be used as a mouth rinse and drink strategy at regular intervals during training to provide maximum effect.

Research on Turbo+ Powder
Training capacity and performance often decrease when exercising in hot conditions due to both increased physiological load and feelings of thermal discomfort. One of the primary contributors to early fatigue in hot environments is enhanced feelings of discomfort and a perception of being hot and uncomfortable. With this in mind, Turbo+ Powder is formulated with menthol extract to improve the ability to tolerate such heat stress through the refreshing and cooling sensations that menthol induces.
Through these mechanisms, ingesting menthol during exercise makes breathing easier and results in improvements in both time trials and time to exhaustion. Training in heat also increases the reliance on carbohydrates as fuel. Therefore, the combination of menthol and carbohydrates provides both a cooling and energizing effect. The rinse-and-drink strategy for Turbo+ Powder is also beneficial because carbohydrates stimulate receptors in the mouth, which have a stimulating effect on the central nervous system (CNS), thus improving training performance.
Usage:
Add Turbo+ Powder to 500 ml of cold water and shake well. At regular 5-10 minute intervals during training, rinse 25-50 ml of the Turbo+ Powder solution around your mouth for 5-10 seconds and then swallow.
