Evening Primrose Oil (EPO) may play a role in promoting smooth and healthy skin.* Our easy-to-swallow softgels are a natural source of GLA (gamma linolenic acid). Our EPO is 100% pure, solvent-free, cold-pressed, and free of hexane and other solvent residues.
9% GLA content
All three strengths (500 mg, 1000 mg, or 1300 mg) contain 9% GLA. GLA can be synthesized from linoleic acid in the body, but biological conversion is estimated to be less than 10%. Since there are no known significant sources of GLA in food, supplementation may be important for supporting health.
