With Now Real Food® organic coconut flour, you can say goodbye to over-processed grain-based flours and replace them with a healthy and flavorful flour that is free from gluten and other common allergens. Our organic coconut flour is dried, defatted coconut meat that has been ground into a fine powder. It is also an excellent source of fiber and iron.
Using Coconut Flour
With organic coconut flour, you need to use considerably less than grain-based flours, approximately 1/4 to 1/3 of the amount of regular flour the recipe calls for. You also need to increase the amount of liquid used, which can be done by increasing the amount of eggs or egg substitutes. Due to its unique properties, we recommend using recipes that are specifically developed for coconut flour.
