JutaVit CALCIUM + D3 chewable tablets contain calcium and vitamin D3. This supplement is free from artificial colors and flavors and contains no added sugar. For children, vitamin D and calcium supplements are important for proper bone development and physical growth. Calcium is needed for normal muscle function and for the normal function of digestive enzymes. It participates in normal energy production, metabolic processes, and normal stimulus transmission. Calcium plays a role in cell division processes and cell specialization. Vitamin D contributes to the normal absorption/utilization of calcium and phosphorus, the maintenance of normal calcium levels in the blood, the maintenance of healthy bones, muscle functions, and healthy teeth. Vitamin D contributes to the normal function of the immune system and plays a role in cell division.
