Advanced technology is used to produce BioAstin® Natural Astaxanthin from algae Haematococcus Pluvialis. The initial cultivation phase of these algae takes place in closed pool systems with a capacity of up to 40,000 liters. The next short "red coloring" cycle lasting 5-7 days takes place in open cultivation ponds with a capacity of 50,000 liters. At every step in the production of BioAstin®, the cultivation of Haematococcus algae is monitored through microscopic examination to ensure that the cultures are clean and free from contaminants. After the "red coloring" cycle is completed, the algae are harvested, washed, and dried. The final production phase of BioAstin® is the extraction of the dried biomass of Haematococcus algae using supercritical carbon dioxide to obtain oleoresin free from biological or environmental contaminants. The supercritical extraction process is a key phase in production that ensures the proper efficacy, purity, and quality of BioAstin® Natural Astaxanthin.
